Surkis Recieved Guarantees from the Government

Visit of Grigory Surkis a member of the executive committee of UEFA in Tbilisi finished with the meeting with Domenti Sichinava the President of Georgian Football Federation and Revaz Arveladze his general secretary at the international Tbilisi air-port. Otar Giorgadze press-speaker of GFF has provided this following information to “World Sport”.

 

Surkis had meeting with Kakha Kaladze Minister of Energetic of Georgia and Levan Kipiani Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia at “Tbilisi Marriot”, then he visited Bidzina Ivanishvili The Prime Minister of Georgia. Later, he visited training base of “Dinamo” located in Digomi, where Roman Pipia the president of “Dinamo” hosted him.
According to Surkis, he can meet the authority of federation any time and this time he needs guarantees, which he had to gain from the government. He stated that there must be done a lot of in infrastructure of Georgia due to hosting Super Cup of Europe 2015. As he said, Ivanishvili promised him to support in carrying out this project.
Before departure of Surkis, Sichinava made the following comment:” the main thing is that the government which had obligations for holding Super Cup of Europe 2015 is still active. After meeting with the minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Prime Minister, the rep of UEFA once again assured that in support of this project. After the meeting with the representatives of the government, relay on us has increased.  That’s why we might be given the right of hosting U-17 and U-19 Elite round again. On December 6, it will be found out if we host UEFA cup final in Futsal”.
On Tuesday, The president of Georgian football federation and his general secretary leave for Germany. Where they will attend the draw of U-17 and U-19 European championship elite-rounds as well as qualifying round of European championship 2014.
