On May 9 in 2004 the last derby of Supreme League between “Spartaki-Lazika” and “Kolkheti- 1913” Poti was hosted by the city of Georgia, Zugdidi. Zugdidi club had big pause after this match. In spite of interesting playing between “Baia”- “Kolkheti”, the most important match of the Supreme League is Tbilisi derby between “Dinamo” Tbilisi and “Wit Georgia”. As for current Supreme League situation Tbilisi teams have only the score difference and as for “Torpedo” under new head coach will hold match against “Spartaki”.

There were always tense matches between those teams. In this season both teams had 2-2 loses and both teams lost with “Olimpi”. “Dinamo” Tbilisi had won 4 matches and after that they lost in the region of Georgia, Bolnisi (0:1). “Wit Georgia” won over “Torpedo” in Rustavi stadium with artificial lawn (1:0), but in spite of wining their opponent team had big advantage.
“Wit Georgia” is one of the strong opponents of “Dinamo” Tbilisi. They have held 39 matches and win balance is such kind 12:11 in expense of “Dinamo”. They also have goal advantages 42:35.

“Sioni” (Bolnisi) - “Zestaponi”

This match should hold in the city of Georgia, Zestaponi but “Zestaponi” asked Professional League to change location of the match and after “Sioni” concept match was took place in the district of Georgia, Bolnisi. As far as you know there is refurbishment work of lawns. Their next match will be held in “Davit Abashidze” renewed stadium on December 5. In the previous season both teams succeeded. According to statistics they have met each other 17 times. “Zestaponi” won 9 games and as for “Sioni”, they won 3 matches. “Zestaponi” has goal advantages 18:6. “Sioni” could not score any goal within 4 matches which were held in last season (0:0, 0:3, 0:1, 0:1).

“Spartaki” (Tskhinvali) - “Torpedo” (Kutaisi)

In this match will start head coach career of Gia Gigatadze.” Vissol” which owns “Torpedo” appointed him after resignation of Nestor Mumladze.

By the way Gigatadze with Iason Bzikadze and Giorgi Sukhishvili played big role of returning “Torpedo” in Supreme League. He was head coach when “Torpedo- 2008” took the first place in the first league and went through the Supreme League.
In spite of such success team refused to take place in Supreme League due to financial problems and “Zestaponi” replaced it in 2003-2004 football season. Gogitidze continued career in “Samgurali” Tskaltubo, which also succeeded.

This match is psychologically very important for “Torpedo”, after losing 4 matches one after another at last managed to win. Unexpectedly the managed to gain point in match against “Spartak”, the match was held in the city of Georgia, Zugdidi. In a result of it they replaced Samtredia on the last second place.

After long pause “Zugdidi” returns regional derby to Supreme League (the last match was held on May 9 in 204). This match has big intrigue, because Zugdidi football clubs competition in Supreme League connected to Beso Sherozia.
Aleksi Intskirveli one of the leaders of “Kolkheti” due to two yellow cards will not be able to participate in this match. “Kolkheti” have positive mood for this match.  They won over champion “Olimpi” Rustavi 5:1 last Saturday. As for “Baia”, they drew with outsider club “Spartaki” 1:1, the match took place in the city of Georgia, Zugdidi.

29.09, 17:00. Rustavi, “Poladi”.
“Olimpi” (Rustavi) - “Samtredia”
Referees: Arsen Nonikashvili; Zaza Pipia, Zviad Erkvania; Malkhaz Beuklishvili.
Champion after loosing with “Baia” with big point difference 1:5 decided to rehabilitate in front of fans. “Samtredia” after winning over “Torpedo” (1:0) did not gain any point in three matches. But in spite of loosing they showed spectacular playing against “Dinamo” (2:3).

According to Prof-league regulation, in case of equal points places will be found out considering the following things: 1.Number of wins; 2. Final results (number of goals and ball difference);3. Scored goals and received goals; 4.Number of scored goal; 5. Scored goals in exterior matches; 6.Fair play rules 7.Voting.
After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
