Successful Start in Skopje

Georgian Footsall National Team started European 2012 Championship with triumphal victory. In the first round match they won over Estonian National Team 8:0.
There are 42 national teams participants in 2012 European Championship, 24 of them will compete in the first stage of the tournament. Teams are divided into 6 groups, winner of the group goes through the second round and joins other 18 teams.
The first round matches finish in January, the second round matches take place on February 24-27. Croatia hosts the final stage and 11 teams besides host country will participate in final stage. The winners of six groups and five teams which take the second round go through the final stage.
In the first round Georgian competes in C group, its rivals are Macedonia, England and Estonia.
There were Azerbaijani, Armenian and Kazakh referees in Skopje. Everything was clear at the 5th minutes, Georgians had already scored 3 goals. After that Davit Bobokhidze a captain of the team and Archil Sepiskveradze scored 3-3 goals, Dimitri Makashvili and Shota Chanukvadze scored 1-1 goals.
After the first match, Macedonia became leader in C group, which won over England 3:1. On January 22 Georgia plays against British National Team and against host country on January 24.
