The second day of Baku Cup (prize money 220 000$) was successful for Georgians’ single tournament, but as for double tournament it was unsuccessful. As far as you know yesterday Sopho Kvatsabaia and Russian Marina Shamaiko lost with duet of Uzbek Abduraimova and Azerbaijani Parfad. Another Georgian-Russian duet Eka Gorgodze and Russian Maria Zharkova lost with Austrian-Tai duet (Dominichenko-Lertcheevkarn).

On Tuesday the only Georgian duet held match- after winning over young Russian Nina Khrisanova, Tatia Mikadze had a little rest and after that she and Sopho Shafatava played against Monica Nicolesque and Galina Voskoboeva. Unfortunately, Georgian duet could not manage to beat Romanian-Kazakh duet – 3:6, 2:6.
Anna Tatishvili and Russian Ksenya Pervak will play against Greek Georgatus and Russian Soloviov, it is the last hope for us in double tournament.
