Mongolian Iokodzuna Hakuho won November Basho which was held at "Kokusai Center" of Fukuoka. Hakuho won "Emperor's Cup" which weighs 29 kg. He beat Japanese the 9th maegashira Toionoshima in the super final.
The additional final was appointed because a 25-year-old Mongolian and Japanese Kiushiu Basho had 14-14 wins.
On the last day of super final, "White Phoenix" beat Bulgarian Kotooshu. Before that was match between Toionoshima and Kisenosato. This last one is distinguished because only he beat Hakuho but he could have done nothing against his compatriot and lost by oshitaoshi.
A 25-year-old Hakuho AKA Munkhbat Davaajargal will keep the title of Iokodzuna in the next Bandzuke. A 38-year-old Japanese veteran Odzeki Kaio will take a place next to him. Kaio has 12 victories. Another Odzeki Kotooshu won 8 times and hardly gained positive balance.
It is a pity but only Teimuraz Jugeli gained Kachi-Koshi from Georgians. Gagamaru Shikona who is the heaviest sumo player of elite Makuuchi devision, held the second half of Basho perfectly.
In the last round of the tournament, the 10th maegashira of East a 23-year-old Georgian beat the 16th maegashira Shotenro. Entirely Gagamaru won 9 matches and lost 6 times.
Thanks to this success, Jugeli will advance and will become the 7th or the 8th maegashira. Perhaps, it will be enough to overtake Georgian sumo pioneer Levan Tsaguria AKA Kokai.
A 29-year-old "Black Sea" gained the title of the 6th maegashira of East but he competed quite unsuccessfully. Kokai lost against Chinese Sokokurai. 4 victories will do no good for Georgian sumo player.
A 23-year-old Levan Gorgadze AKA Tochinoshini will decrease. He could not get positive balance. On the last day of November tournament Tochinoshini beat the 4th maegashira Hakuba by yorikiri. He won 6 matches and lost 9 times.
