Antuaneta Stefanova world ex-champion (2004-2006) finished World Rapid Chess Championship convincingly, which was hosted in Batumi. Bulgarian chess player gained 8.5 points from 11 and took the first place.
World ex-champion (2008-2012) Aleksandra Kosteniuk (Russia ), World vice-champion Hampy Koneru (India) and European two-times champion (2005, 2008) Ekaterina Lanho (Ukraine) were a point behind the champion.
As for Georgian participants, Nana Dzagnidze showed the best result among them, who took the seventh place with seven points. There is another Georgian chess player in top 15, it is Lela Javakhishvili, who took the 13rd place with 6.5. points.
