Beach volley-ball world tour started in the city of Finland, Aland. Prize money of this tournament is 190 000 $. Traditionally Georgian duets with Brazilian volley-ball players Saka-Rtvelo and Geor-Gia started competing at this tournament, but they finished competition very soon. 

Saka-Rtvelo (No.3 seed) missed the first round, in the second round they beat Australian couple (Marie-Rokamp, No.35 seed) 2:0 (21:9, 21:11) and then beat the Chinese (Vang Fani-Ma, No.14 seed) - 2:0 (21:19, 21:13) and as a result went through the main wrap.

Unfortunately,aka-Rtvelo (Brazilian girls Andrezza Chagas and Christine Santanna) lost the first match in the main wrap against American couple (May-Trener, No.4 seed) 0:2 (19:21, 12:21) and then lost with Australians (Hansel-Montaniol, No.20 seed) - 1:2 (21:14, 23:25, 5:15). Saka-Rtvelo gained 60 rating points and 2 000 $. 

As for Geor-Gia, they even could not manage to overcome qualifying tournament. Renato Gomes and Jorge Terceiro won over Japanese couple (Hasegava-Ynoue, No.seed 30) 2:0 (21:18, 21:11), they lost decisive match with Chinese couple (Gao-Chen, No.19 seed) 1:2 (21:16, 15:21, 11:15).

The next tournament will be held in Holland. On August 23-28 women will compete at qualifying round of HP Beach Open and men start competing in the main wrap.
