Three changes are made in the staff of Georgian sevens team.
Members of Georgian U-20 team Levan Gogolashvili (“Academy”, Tbilisi), Beka Bitsadze (“Army”, Tbilisi) and Giorgi Tkhilaishvili (“Batumi XV”, Batumi) could not leave for the Barcelona stage of European Grand Prix because of visa problems.
Vakhtang Kavtidze, Giorgi Koberidze and Rati Nutsubidze will play instead of them in Catalonia. Kavtidze and Koberidze are backliners of “Lokomotive” Tbilisi. Rati Nutsubidze (“Army”) is called up in sevens team for the first time.
After two stages, Georgian team is in the 5th place with 22 points. Georgians took the 7th place in Lyon and the 4th place in Moscow. England, France, Italy, Romania and Holland will be opponents of Georgia at the Barcelona stage. Portugal, Spain, Wales, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova are in the second group. Matches will be held on July 9-10. Bucharest will host the fourth stage on July 16-17.
