When “Brive” lost to “Bordeaux” 9:23 in first elite division of France – Top 14, and it was obvious that the team will start the next season in Pro D2, specialists started talking about dismissal of leaders from the team.
It was known that Georgian Vasil Kakovin would leave “Brive” at the end of the season. He will play for “Toulouse”. French edition Midi Olympique spread information that another Georgian, 29-year-old Davit Khinchagishvili will continue his career in “Stade Francais” Paris.
It is not decided yet. Georgian hooker Irakli Natriashvili will stay in the team. Beba Bitsadze will join him from summer.
Khichagishvili has been playing in France since 2003. At first, he played for “Beziers”, “Bourgoin”, “Brive”. This year, he participated in 13 matches of Top 14 and in four matches of “Challenge Cup”. That is because he played at World Cup with Georgia in New Zealand in September-October. And he did not have time for the club. Khichagishvili has been playing for “The Lelos” since 2003. He gathered three caps and scored three tries.
“Stade Francais” is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world – it was founded in 1883. The team became champion of France 13 times, last time it was in 2007. It played in final 8 times. “Stade Francais” played in final of “Heineken Cup” twice. Last year, it went through final of “Challenge Cup”.
