Spoiled Game by Avram and Georgian Tears

Georgian tears, after the match, were caused not only failure but due to unfair. It is very difficult to calm 16-17 years old guys down and say that “referee is also a person”. Some people can say that Marius Avram’s such decision was just a mistake.

It is the fact that the tears of Georgian guys are much more that the salary of this referee.

As for the match, at the beginning of the match, Holland had superiority, but then Georgians equalized playing and the 15th minute came. Queensy Menig received the ball in the middle of the field, passed one Georgian and quickly moved towards the penalty area, managed to kick from the line and goalkeeper Aleksandre Adamia managed to parry the ball out easily. But, Avram set the standard kick – until Queensy Menig kicked, Chanturia moved and kicked. As a result he was shown yellow card.

Dutch kicked and the ball touched Chanturia, who started moving before whistling. Avram showed the second yellow card and Chanturia was sent off.. while the whole match was ahead.

First of all this standard kick was very doubtful- Chaturia left the left, but as it seemed, he did not touch the ball. Dutch even did not complain this moment and did not say that Menig was fall down.

Besides this, Avram made two doubtful decisions: two standard kicks in favor of the opponent and he did not set standard kick against Dutch. Small mistakes added to big mistakes.

In the first period Dutch had the only chance, but Adamia managed to parry out Joris Voest’s strong kick. “The Orange” managed to gain superiority, but it was not superiority which can be called strong. There were not any dangerous moments before the first goal. Before it the Dutch were playing in a low tempo and without fantasy.

Due to sending off the captain, Vasil Maisuradze did not make any changes, only Giorgi Gorozia moved to the back, in defense and the centre of the midfield gave to Albert Stuivenberg’s  team. Vano Tsilosani attacked several times, forward Darstimelia was very active.

In the second period, situation changed. At the 46th minute Adamia saved Georgian team: Ray Vlut was face to face to Georgian goalkeeper, but in spite of this Adamia managed to parry the ball out.  Soon Lumu kicked from the long distance, but Adamia again saved the situation.

Time passed and penalty serie was coming nearer and nearer. Unfortunately, attacks from Georgian side were not very efficient, but since 60th minute, Georgian did well for ten minutes- they were very active and made the Dutch move back.

But soon situation again complicated: Dutch Nathan Ake activated, he kicked but the ball touched the goalpost.

A shock-bringing goal for Georgians was scored in such way: Ake assisted to Yorith Handrics, who kicked by head and scored 1:0. It was impossible to parry this ball out for goalkeeper. Only one minute was left before penalty serie.

At the extra time Holland managed to score the second goal: Thom Haye kicked the ball from 15-metre distance and scored.

Tears, tears.. it is difficult to keep calmness. There would be another type match if the captain were not sent off. The Coaching board and the players deserved a lot of thank, because since May 4, Georgians have been in a big football agiotage.
