Basketball club “Sokhumi” which will play in the qualifying round of EuroChallenge at the beginning of October bought another legionary. According to EuroBasket, “Sokhumi” signed one-year contract with American forward Brandon Gay who played for “Pepinster” of Tornike Shengelia. Gay held 31 matches in “Pepinster”. His average point is 10.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.2 turnovers.

“Sokhumi” will hold the qualifying matches of EuroChallenge on October 4 and 11. Belarusian “Minsk-2006” will be opponent of “Sokhumi”. In case of overcoming this obstacle, Georgian club will play in Group G with Turkish “Turk Telekom”, German “Telekom” and loser between “Karshiaka” and “Le Mans”.
