Famous Georgian chess player Nana Ioseliani turned 50 years old on February 12. Today, Nana Ioseliani Cup was held in rapid chess at Tbilisi Chess Palace. Leader chess players of Georgia and personally invited women chess players participated in the tournament. Besides women’s tournament, competition was held among journalists.
Seven rounds were held at the tournament. Top 3 chess players were awarded with prizes. Sofio Gvetadze, winner of women’s tournament, was awarded with Nana Ioseliani Cup along with prize.
