Georgian National Cadet Judo Team which represents two main staffs at World Cadets Judo Championship competes unsuccessfully at the following tournament, which is underway in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev.
On the first day of the tournament champions and prize winners were found out in 50 and 55 weight categories. Georgians managed to win four matches on the first day. Giorgi Katsiashvili (50 kg)  could not manage beat Azerbaijani Sadikh Maharaov (who won bronze medal later) after beating Armenian Vahan Hovsepyan and Moldovam Dumitru Mitropanov. As for Zviad Khubuluri, he lost the first match with Egyption Alli Eid.  
Vano Mamisashvili (55 kg) lost with Kazakh Serikzhanov in the first round, Givi Apakidze managed to beat Tajik Komron Mamadnazarov and after this match he lost with Yen Min Tsais (Taiwan) who gained silver medal later.
 Unsuccessful day was for those Georgian judokas who wresteled in 66 weight category. Giorgi Muzashvili and Apolon Zurabiani lost the first matches, the first one lost with Czech Frantishek Shmelik and the second one with Kazakh Salamat Zhurkabaev.
Giorgi Gugulashvili (60 kg) could not manage to beat Ukrainian Magomed Sagalov. Tamaz Kirakozashvili started competing quite well, but could not manage to continue it in the same way. Georgian sportsman managed to beat Mongolian Mungunshagai Baatar, Ahmed Amireh of the UAE and Ramazan Tauba of Kazakhstan (he awarded with ippon in all the three matches). In the quarter final he lost with Japanese Yuma Oshima. In repechage match Kirakozashvili lost with Uzbek Nikita Rakhimov.  
Among girls Guranda Shotadze (48 kg) lost with Mongolian Khulan Tserenbaatar, Mariam Tsikhelashvili (52 kg) lost with French Megan Matei.
Tomorrow champions and prize winners will be found out in 73 and 81 weight categories. Four Georgian judokas will wrestle tomorrow in these catgories. Levan Gugava (73 kg) wrestles against Ramaz Mutoshvili of Ukraine. Beka Doghvani wrestles aganstAmerican Rikardo Menendez.
In 81 weight category Beka Ghviniashvili starts competing from the second circle and he will wrestle against Kazakh Abdrakham Mirzakhmet or South Korean Yongil Kim. Jaba Kapanadze also starts competing from the second circle, he will wrestle against Russian Aleksandr Petrunia.
Mariam Janashvili(57 kg) wrestles against Egyptian Nurhan Osamaa, Ani Mindiashvili (63 kg) against Turkish Hulia Ilanch. On August 14 on the final day of World Championship Guram Tushishvili (90 kg) wrestles against Aleksandr Grachev, Shalva Chocheli - Serbian Nemania Nikolic. Zaza Khubuliani (heavy weight) against South Korean Hyunbin Cho and Giorgi Lazuashvili - French Simon Hamel.
