Amiran Totikashvili, head coach of Georgian judo team, named the whole staff who will compete at World Championship. Only the 15th member was left to find out. Giorgi Shinjikashvili will compete in a 81-weight-class. Interior competition was among 3 candidates and control matches were held in Borjomi to find out the best one.
"Shinjikashvili, Ioseb Tselauri and Khvicha Khutsishvili wrestled with each other and we made the final decision according to the results. Khutsishvili finished both matches with draw, Shinjikashvili beat Tselauri and won the chance to compete at World Championship" - stated Amiran Totikashvili to "World Sport".
Tokyo will host World Championship 2010 on September 9-13.
