Georgian national judo team will leave for London Olympics with the whole staff. Lasha Shavdatuashvili has just gained the seventh medal.  Georgian judoka (66kg) won two matches and went through the quarter-final.  His rivals: Latvian Denis Koslov and Jew Golan Polak stayed beyond 1/8 final. Shavdatuashvili wrestles against No.2 seed Russian judoka Alim Gadanov in quarter-final.
Shalva Kardava another member of Georgian national judo team continues fighting for license in the same weight category. In quarter-final his rival is French David Laros. Betkil Shukvani and Amiran Papinashvili (both of them 60 kg) continue unbeatable competition. In quarter-final Shukvani wrestles against Armenian Hovanes Davtyan and Papinashvili against Dutch Xeroen Mooren.
