Lasha Shavdatuashvili (66 kg) and Mikheil Chokheli (73 kg), members of Georgian youth judo team, lost in ¼ final of World Championship which is underway in Cape Town. They will compete in repechage and are two victories away from bronze medals. Pridon Gigani (73 kg) lost in the first round.

Shavdatuashvili will wrestle against Everet Desilets of America and Chokheli – against Max Stewart of Great Britain.

World Junior Championship started yesterday and Georgian team gained one medal – Giorgi Mesablishvili (55 kg) won bronze medal.
