Shapatava Beat Georgian and Waits for Half-Georgian

Two Georgian tennis players Maka Chakhnashvili and Sopho Shapatava went through the 1/8 final of the international tournament (25 000 USD) which is underway in the capital of Egypt, Cairo.
No.4 seed Maka Chakhnashvili beat Czech Iveta Gerlova 6:2, 6:0 in the first round. No.8 seed Shapatava beat Sopho Kvatsabaia 6:4, 6:4.
Ukrainian Elizaveta Ianchuk will be opponent of Maka in the 1/8 final. Sopho will play against player with Georgian roots, a 18-year-old Nanuli Pipia who was born in Sochi. She lives in the city of Spain, Seville. In the first round Pipia beat Egyptian El Kamash 6:3, 7:5.
In doubles tournament, No.1 seed duet of Chakhnashvili and Italian Dentoni will play against Ukrainians - Ianchuk and Shkudin. No.2 seed duet of Shapatava and Kvatsabaia will start participation from the 1/8 final. They will play against French duet (Gaudi-Sanchez).
Georgian No.2 seed player Oksana Kalashnikova lost at the tournament (25 000 USD) which takes place in the city of Turkey, Istanbul. Georgian girl was No.5 seed player at the tournament but she played against No.1 seed Czech Andrea Hlaváčková and lost 3:6, 4:6.
In the 1/4 final of doubles tournament, No.3 seed duet of Kalashnikova and Russian Sirotkina will play against Turkish Eraydin and Bulgarian Shinikova.
