Sergo Putrakadze, press attaché of football club “Zestafoni”, told “World Sport” that the team has financial problem but it does not mean that “Zestafoni” will not continue functioning and playing in Supreme League.

Sergo Putkaradze: “We had financial problem and the club could not pay membership dues by August 1. It is a pity that those people who must be interested why “Zestafoni” could not pay membership dues by August 1 did not show any interest. Big clubs also have such problems. So, case of “Zestafoni” is not surprising.

Though, we can pay membership dues on August 3-4. I can tell you that issue of club’s existence was not discussed. If “Zestafoni” has some problems, it does not mean that the club will not exist. This issue is not discussed”.
