"Schalke" Won without Kenia

Levan Kenia is still training individually and "Schalke" Gelsenkirchen held a test-match without him. "Schalke" beat "Karabükspor" of Turkish Super League 3:0. Levani is curing left ankle and it is dangerous for him to play now.
"Schalke" will hold another test-match in Belek. The club will play against Turkish "Eskişehirspor" on January 12 and perhaps, a 20-year-old Georgian midfielder will play in this match. Head coach Felix Magath wants Kenia to recover before the start of Bundesliga. Bundesliga will be resumed on January 15 and "Schalke" will play against "Hamburg".
As for the match against "Karabükspor", "Schalke" did not have Raul, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and other leading players. Mario Gavranovic, Christian Pander and Ivan Rakitic scored goals.
