Sandro Guruli: "I Want to Stay"

Yesterday, “World Sport” wrote that Sandro Guruli, 26-year-old midfielder of “Karpaty” Lviv, is tested in Polish “Lechia” Gdansk.

Georgian football player stated in an interview with the official website of the club – “I want to show my possibilities and to stay here”.

According to the same source, Guruli will have one week to show his possibilities to “Lechia”. After that, the management of the club will make a decision. If coach likes him, the Polish side will hold negotiations with “Karpaty” because the football player has contract with the club.

“Guruli is a fast, dynamic and universal football player. He can play behind forwards and as a center forward” – Roman Kazorek, head selectionist of “Lechia”, characterized Guruli.

After 17 rounds, “Lechia” is in the 12th place with 17 points in Polish Ekstraklasa. Last two teams will leave the league. “Lechia” is 3 points away from the 15th place. The team does not have rich traditions but it plays on one of the most beautiful stadiums of the country which was built specially for European Championship, “Arena Gdansk”.
