On October 29, Georgian national volley-ball team lost with Romanian national team in qualifying match of European championship (6:18). As far as you know, on October 1 Georgians lost with Romanians in the first qualifying match (5:11), for going through the next stage Georgians had to beat Romanian with such score 12:5, which was impossible according with the statement of Sandro Bitadze president of Georgian volley-ball federation. One of the reasons was that, there were not any legionaries in Georgian team.
Besides this failure, the main problem is that it is quite possible Georgian volley-ball to stop existence.
“As for future plans, I cannot talk about it if there is not financing” – states Sandro Bitadze.
