On October 1, playoff matches of European water polo qualifying round will be held in swimming pool “Olympic” in Tbilisi. Georgian team took the second place in the first round of the qualifying stage. Georgians are among 18 best European teams and it means a lot. On the first day of October, Georgians will play against Romanians (the responsive match will be held on October 29 in Romania). We talked to Aleksandre Bitadze, president of Water Polo Federation, about the future match.

- What can you say about the match against Romania?

- Romaniahas the strongest team. It has experienced players, especially center forwards. The team always plays at World and European Championships.

- What is the mood like in the team?

- The team is in a fighting mood. The boys will do their best to win and to get among 12 best European teams.

- Is anybody injured?

- Unfortunately, yes. Two foreigners Marco Elez and Marino Franicevic will be able to help us. They are great loss for our team.

- Will Turkish referee judge the match again?

- No, Spanish and Macedonian referees will judge it. Delegate is from Slovakia.
