Football club "Samtredia" has a new management. "World Sport" has already informed you that one of the new heads of the club is local Soso Jashi. Some local inhabitants of Samtredia are going to save the club and to keep its place in Supreme League.
According to the decision of Lasha Makatsaria, governor of Imereti region, manager Davit Burkadze resigned with president of the club Zaza Adeishvili. Irakli Akhobadze, member of Samtredia City Council, took the place of Adeishvili. Soso Jashi will participate in new management with him and other local fans of football.
"Yet, nothing has changed - we are holding negotiations with "Samtredia" to collect the money which is necessary to finish the championship. If we are left to count on the government, then I have nothing to do in this new management", - mentioned Jashi in the conversation with us.
While new owners of "Samtredia" are searching for finances, head coach Levan Anjaparidze is training the team for a new season.
"Samtredia" opened sparring season of Supreme League against "Kolkheti" 1:3. The next test match which will be held by "Samtredia" will take place on January 18 against "Baia" Zugdidi.
