Davit Namgalauri, secretary of minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, awarded Samoa with Cup. It means that Samoa will play at World Cup 2012 in South Africa.

Samoa and Japan played in the final. Japanese team advanced 17:0 in first 20 minutes but Samoa managed to score three tries in the first half and was winning 19:17 before the break.

Two minutes before the end of the match the score was 24:24. Samoa scored the decisive try at the last minutes and won the match 31:24.

Georgian team took the third place. The team beat Uruguay 20:16. Canada took the fifth place. The team beat Russia 49:25. USA won over Zimbabwe 30:29 and took the seventh place.
