TSU and “Rustavi” held the second game of January 23 at Cup of Georgia 2012. TSU won this game 96:89.

Tornike Niniashvili earned the most – 24 points from TSU. Levan Khmelidze scored 33 points from “Rustavi”. Nugzar Cheishvili (head coach of TSU): “Rustavi” is a young team and plays good basketball. We are forming the team now and I am happy to win this game”.

Badri Kikvidze (assistant of “Rustavi” head coach): “We did not have three leading basketball players and unfortunately, we could not win”.

In today’s first game, Samedicino beat “Batumi” 88:72. So, “Batumi” and “Rustavi” ended up participation in the tournament. Samedicino and TSU will play against each other at 16:00 on Tuesday.
