Today officially was opened Sambo “Sport Palace”. Representatives of Georgian Sambo Federation, Lado Vardzelashvili Minister of Georgian Sport and Youth Affairs and Davit Rudman Vice-President of International Sambo Federation attended ceremony.
Facility which was belonged to judo federation was given to Sambo federation last year. They repaired building according to modern standards. Now there are all possibilities for complete preparation of Georgian Sambo Federation’s members.” Georgians love wrestling and especially Sambo. Georgian sportsmen succeed in this kind of sport. We have strong wrestlers. Opening new building is start of new success. I believe that here will be brought up young prospective sportsmen and these sportsmen will succeed at European and World Championship”- stated Davit Rudman.
