42-year-old Olympic, world and European champion Nino Salukvadze of Georgia won silver medal in shooting in super final of World Cup which is underway in the city of Poland, Wroclaw.

World’s 10 best shooters participated in the super tournament. In pistol shooting, Salukvadze was only behind Lenka Maruskova of Czech Republic (790.4 points). Nino took the second place (787.8). Iing Chen of China (786.9) won bronze medal.

Air gun competition will be held on September 24. So-called “champions race” is planned on the same day. All men and women champions will participate in it.

Last year, Salukvadze became champion of World Cup in the city of Germany, Munich. She won this prestigious award for 9 times and this is a record.
