Saka-Rtvelo women couple took the 13-16 places in beach volleyball current World Championship, which is held in the city of Norway, Kristiansand. They collected 180 rating points and were awarded by 4 250 $.Brazilian girls (Kristina Santana- Andresa Chagass, rank 12) lost the first match against Chinese couple (Huangi-Iue, 21 rank) 1:2 (21:14, 19:21, 13:15). In spite of this, Brazilian-Georgians were given chance of playing and they won two matched one after another.
Saka-Rtvelo beat Norway (rank 28) 2:0 (21:5, 21:17) and then Mexican couple (Kandelas- Garsia, rank 11) 2:0 (21:13, 25:23). In play-off Santana and Chagass in spite of strong fight lost at the 49 minute with Canadian couple (Martin – Lesard, rank 14)
Brazilian duet Geor-Gia (Renato Gomes and Jorje Terserio) lost and won one once.
In the first match Geor-Gia (rank 17) beat Russian duet (Belov-Dainov) 2:0 (21:17, 21:16) but then they lost with Americans (Rogers-Dalhausser) 1:2(16:21, 21:18, 10:15). This game lasted for one hour.
Geor-Gia will held next game against French couple (Sesi- Sesi, rank 18) and do not have right of losing.
