Russian National Rugby Team held training at “Mikheil Meskhi” stadium. The training was closed and after finishing, head coach of the club Kingsley Jones and captain of the team – Alexander Yanyushkin held a press-conference. According to the head coach of Russian national rugby team that his visit is not usual, he plans victory in tomorrow’s match.

Kingsley Jones (head coach of Russian national rugby team):  “I have never said that we cannot beat Georgian national team this year. As it seems, there was some misunderstanding while translation and my words were understood in a wrong way. It is a great challenge for me to come to Georgia. I respect Georgian people very much, because Georgians look like my compatriots (Wales), but I am here only for victory. Russian team is staffed with young players, who have not lost with Georgian and maybe it will do favor to our team. Although the statistics are not in our favor but tomorrow we will try to change it. To my mind our weak point will be static on Saturday. If we show resistance against your attack line, our back-line can provide you the problems. Your strong point is violent playing. The main is not to let rivals own the ball in our penalty area. I have a lot of friends in France and I know possibilities of Georgian rugby players very well. It is pleasure to play at such stadium”.

Alexander Yanyushkin (captain of Russian national team):  “50 % of the club is staffed with young players. We want to win this match and we are so determined for it that it is quite possible to do it. Maybe statistics are not in favor of us, but it is just psychological factor. Our main problem is that we always used to lose with Georgian national team. I hope that tomorrow everything will be changed”.

Today, at 15:00 o’clock Georgian national team holds training. After it head coach and captain of Georgian national team will give a press-conference.
