It can be considered decidedly that Roman Pipia will be new owner of “Dinamo” Tbilisi. 44-year-old businessman has been working in Russia for years, he has business in France as well as in Georgia. Pipia decided to buy “Dinamo” several days ago and he is going to invest several millions in club. On December 9 at midday, Pipia met Zviad Sichinava the president of GFF and the director of “Dinamo” Buba Tkavadze in Georgian Football Federation. This meeting was closed, but after leaving the federation they made several comments.
Roman Pipia: “ The main points connected buying the club have already decided and now are left some details. My aim will be that “Dinamo” take its place not only in Georgian championship, also abroad. We are coming with hope”. As it was found out, Pipia will talk about “Dinamo” plans, about sum of money which will be invested in club, about transfers and so on. Pipia agreed with the members of Patarkatsishvili’s family about several tasks. Till he officially buy club, he will meet family members of Patarkatsishvili in London.
Zviad Sichinava:“Roman Pipia is a successful businessman and he has done much in football. he is owner of “Sokol” Saratov and at this time club went through Russian second league to Surpeme League, where it took the 5th place. But “Dinamo” is not “Sokol”, “Zenit” or CSKA, this is the best title owner in Georgia and we hope that it will compete successfully in Champions League and in European League”.
