Today, basketball club “Sokhumi” which is preparing for the qualifying matches of EuroChallenge transferred two players – Frank Robinson and Pier Pears.

Vaja Kvaratskhelia, assistant of head coach Ainars Bagatskis, informed “World Sport” with this information.

According to him, Robinson and Pears passed medical test and tomorrow they will join “Sokhumi”.

Belarusian “Minsk-2006” will be the first opponent of “Sokhumi” at the qualifying stage of EuroChallenge.

These teams will hold matches against each other on October 4 and 11.

The first match of “Sokhumi” and “Minsk-2006” will be held in Tbilisi. Minsk will host the responsive match.
