In London, at Greco-Roman wrestling tournament, in 60 kg weight category, Georgian “Classic” Revaz Lashkhi started competition from 1/8 final and finished his first match with victory over Saied Hamed of Egypt. Georgian sportsman won the first set 2:0. In the second set Lashkhi gained superiority and finally won. In ¼ final Lashkhi wrestled against Zaur Kuramagomedov of Russia, who is from Kabardo-Balkania. The Georgian wrestler won the first set 2:0. Lashkhi won in two sets and was through semifinal where he wrestled against Hasan Aliyev of Azerbaijan. It is worth mentioning that Revaz defeated the Azerbaijan in ½ final of European Championship two years ago.
Lashkhi lost the first set but in the second one he gained three points. The third set turned out decisive where Lashkhi gained point of victory and made through final!
