Georgian No.1 tennis player Anna Tatishvili had regress in a renewed WTA ranking. Anna is in the 77th place. Two weeks ago Anna was in the 73rd place with 834 points. Now, she “lost” four places.
Now, Tatishvili is in Miami and will compete in international tournament (4 828 050 US). According to the preliminary information, Tatishvili was to start participation in Sony Ericsson Open from the qualifying draw though her last name is not in the draw. Oksana Kalashnikova will play in the main draw of Almaty tournament (Kazakhstan, 25 000 USD). No.8 seed Georgian tennis player will play against Anastasiya Vasylyeva of Ukraine in the first round. In the qualifying draw, No.6 seed Natia Gegia will play against Daria Afanasyeva of Russia.
In doubles draw, Kalashnikova and Eugeniya Pashkova of Russia will play against No.2 seed duet of Kapshay of Ukraine and Treskunova of Russia. Gegia and Natalia Berezhnaya of Kazakhstan will play against Slovakian-American duet (Juhaszova-Riley).
