Georgia will host European Wrestling Championship 2013. Today, Rafael Martinet, president of International Wrestling Federation, confirmed this information which was spread lately.

“Wrestling has great traditions in Georgia and people love this sport here. I think it is time for you to host the biggest tournaments. Today, I can officially state that in 2013, European Greco-Roman, freestyle and women wrestling championship will be held in your country. I am sure you can handle this mission” – stated Rafael Martinet at the press conference in Batumi.
