San Marino, Andorra – these are two teams which scored less goals than Georgian in this qualifying round. Faroe Islands and Liechtenstein scored 3 goals. Other teams have 4 goals at least.

We were not scored a lot (8) but it is a bad fact that the national team scored only 3 goals in 7 matches. None of these three goals were scored by forward.

A bad period of Georgian football goes on. The results of the Georgian clubs and national team are catastrophic – we do not remember our team to score goal for a long time. The clubs lost Europa League play-off 0:12. The national team could not manage to score goal three matches in a row and has only one draw in the last six matches.

We thought scoreless draw with France will be stimulus for the team but “World Sport” has written that the match against Finland would not be easy. We are far from that opinion that the team of Temur Ketsbaia lost because of euphoria. Why did they have to be in euphoria?

Referee: he could have ignored the hand of Targamadze but he awarded penalty. Russian-born Finnish midfielder Roman Eremenko did not give a chance to Nukri Revishvili. Soon a terrible 5-minute episode ended up with another trouble – captain Jaba Kankava received two yellow cards in a row. Both cards were fair.

The referee did not count the goal of Teemu Pukki which fell down inside the line. Finland was winning at that time.   

What we can say about the match in which the host team makes the first dangerous moment in the middle of the second half. Okriashvili missed the shot and it was the first and the last chance.

The first half showed that the guests played better. They did not make mistakes in assists, had one-two combinations. The Georgians individually tried to make dangerous moments.

At the 22^nd minute when Pukki gave a present to Georgia: Nukri Revishvili left the net. Aleko Amisulashvili and Revishvili could not catch the ball and Finnish best forward could not score in empty net.

It was a bad match for watching: it often stopped because of free kicks. Sandro Kobakhidze was very inert. The substitution of Kobakhidze by Targamadze also did not work. And, who played?

It is strange why you should make high assists from the wing when Ananidze, Okriashvili and Gelashvili are standing in the penalty area. Why it is difficult to stop the ball. The Georgian national team cannot play combinational football. And we do not have individualists as well: for example, today we could not see that any forwards to play individually.

Perhaps, the Georgian national team will take the second place from the bottom and will be in the fifth pot at the next qualifying. Our team has not scored 2 goals in one match in the last two qualifying groups.

Georgian fans rushed in the field three matches in a row. Security service run after them and people laugh – our football players do not run so much.

It is not true that the playing quality of our team has increased. It is more a desire than a reality.
