Professional Tournament Finished Unprofessionally

Giorgi Kandelaki Boxing Hall which is in Vera Park hosted World and European rating matches among professional boxers.
Instead of 10 doubles, 9 participated in the tournament. They competed in 54 (2 doubles), 60 (1), 62 (1), 66 (2), 69 (2) and 79 (1) weight classes.
The 8th and 9th matches were held strangely. Boris Mdinaradze (Variani) - Zurab Mekerishvili (Gurjaani) and Mikheil Avakyan (Borjomi) - Zamir Jamalov (Tbilisi) competed in 79 and 54 weight classes.
Match of Mdinaradze-Mekerishvili was to be held with 4 rounds. But organizers did not find it necessary to hold it with 4 rounds and named winner after 3 rounds. Such case occurs only when knockout and technical knockout are showed. None of them occurred in this match but as boxers did not play actively, Mdinaradze was named as winner. If Mdinaradze wanted he could have won over his opponent in the first round but it is not known why he behaved so. His behaviour makes suspicious, that he was sure in his victory before the start of the match.
Winner between Avakyan-Jamalov was found out in one round. Knockout or technical knockout did not occur in this match too. The match which should have been held with 6 rounds finished earlier and Avakyan won it.
Also matches between Beka Sajaia (Tbilisi) - Giorgi Urjumelashvili (Variani) 54 kg, Vasiko Mchedlidze (Variani) - Renat Samedov (Tbilisi) 69 kg and Vakhtang Khurtsia (Tbilisi) - Giorgi Khachidze (Tbilisi) finished earlier.
Khachidze was more experienced and stronger than Khurtsidze. Referee stopped the match in the second round and named Khachidze as a winner.
Unlike Khachidze, Mchedlidze won in the third round and Sajaia won in the fourth one.
Interesting and tense match was held between Dato Makaradze (Tbilisi) and Nugzar Margvelashvili (Tbilisi) who were competing in 62 kg. At the end of the match Margvelashvili looked tired but he protected himself well. After 6 rounds, referees named Margvelashvili as a winner.
Mikheil Khutsishvili (Variani) and Giorgi Ungiadze (Poti) won in 66 kg. They beat Nika Khetsuriani (Borjomi) and Elizbar Jologua (Tbilisi).
Tamar Kartvelishvili, head coach of Georgian professional boxing team, estimated the tournament well. According to him, Vera Park will host World and European rating matches in December.
