Turkish “Kayserispor” presented Zurab Khizanishvili. The official presentation was held at “Kadir Has” stadium. 29-year-old Georgian football player greeted fans and journalists and then held a press conference:

“I am happy that I arrived here. I watched Turkish Championship on TV and I always liked it. “Kayserispor” is a strong club. I have spent 10 years in Britain. Now, I am here and I will do my best to bring success to “Kayserispor”, - stated “Khizana” who signed a 2-year contract.

Of course, Shota Arveladze, head coach of “Kayserispo”, attended the press conference. He played with Zurab for Georgian national team and “Glasgow Rangers”. Aleksandre Amisulashvili was mentioned at the press conference. Amisulashvili transferred to “Krasnodar”.

“I can say for sure that it will not happen again. Khizanishvili will stay with us”, - joked Shota.

It is not known the number “Khizana” will play with. But it is known that “Zura” will be written on his jersey.

Khizanishvili started British career in 2001: Scottish “Dundee” and “Glasgow Rangers”, English “Blackburn”, “Newcastle” and “Reading” – Zurab played for these clubs but before leaving for Britain he played for “Dinamo” Tbilisi and “Lokomotive”. Zurab played 74 matches in Georgian national team and scored one goal. In 2009, his transfer to Turkish “Galatasaray” was almost decided but the talks were wrecked.
