Press conference was held at Olympic Committee today. This conference was dedicated to Youth Olympiad – “Tbilisi 2015”. Georgian U-12 tennis team (Ana Shanidze, Giorgi Kenchiashvili, Zura Tkemaladze and Giorgi Pshavlishvili) will participate in international tournament which will take place in the city of Lithuania, Siauliai, from March 31 to April 6. Winners of logo contest for Tbilisi Youth Festival 2015 were presented to journalists. According to the decision of jury, Ia Darakhvelidze was announced as an author of the best logo. She will leave for London Olympiad. Ia Moseshvili had the most Facebook Likes. She was awarded with equipment of Georgian Olympic team.

Irakli Samkurashvili (sports coordinator of “Tbilisi 2015”): “I want to say that participants of Tbilisi Youth Festival 2015 are very lucky because Olympic Committee is responsible of preparing all sportsmen and sportswomen”.

Leila Meskhi (president of Tennis Federation): “First of all, I want to thank Georgian government and Olympic Committee for their support. It is worth mentioning that we are helped for the first time. As for young tennis players, I am sure they will compete well in “Tbilisi 2015”.

Ia Darakhvelidze (winner of “Tbilisi 2015” logo contest): “I am happy that I was chosen from 200 contestants. To tell the truth, I did not expect to win because I made this logo in one hour. I will be happier if my work becomes the main symbol of Youth Festival 2015”.
