On August 10 President of UEFA Michel Platini left for the capital of Moldova, Kishinov where the 100th football anniversary was being celebrated. Moldovan and Georgian veteran footballers played for this celebration (4:4). Platini watched this match but did not attend the match between national teams (0:0) on the "Zimbru" stadium.

- What is you impression about the match of veterans? Did not you want to play?
- Of course, I wanted but I prefer to be outside the field in such hot weather. But I can say that it is very pleasant to visit any country and to watch match of veterans - it is football history of the country.
- Why are not you staying for match between Moldovan and Georgian national teams?
- Unfortunately, I am very busy. Now I am leaving for Dublin where a new stadium is built and match between Ireland-Argentina will be held.
- How do you think, when will Moldova be able to host final of any tournament?
- First of all, you should restore republican stadium. Then everything will be possible.
