Amiran Papinashvili member of Georgian national judo team guaranteed medal at Abu-Dab Grand Prix. Georgian wrestler (60kg) beat Ziade Damien (Lebanon) and American Nikolas Kosor with ippons and went through the semi-final, where he wrestles against Mongolian Amartuvshin Dashdava. Beslan Mudranov of Russia and Diego Santos of Brazil will fight for going through the final. The rule of repechage does not work at Grand-Prix and loser in semi-final at once gains bronze medal.
Today champions and prize winners will be found out in 66 kg weight category. Jacob Gazdeliani represents Georgia in this weight category, but he lost at the beginning of the tournament with Japanese Masashi Kodera.
