Vakhtang Pantskhava singed three-year agreement with football club “Dinamo” Tbilisi. He will play with jersey No.6. Giorgi Nwmsadze general director and Zurab Pololikashvili sport director and Gia Gventsadze press speaker of the club represented 21-year-old new-comer.
Zurab Pololikashvili:” I wan to greet Vakho, who showed wish of playing in “Dinamo” and has connected with us himself. I would greet all Georgians who want to come back in Georgia and play here. It is merit of Kakha Kacharava that Pantskhava continues playing in “Dinamo”. He knew his possibilities. He was being tested for two weeks and then we decided to sign agreement with him. He has big potential and it is very important transfer for us, because there is lack of strikers in Georgia”.
After Pololikashvili’s speech, Pantskhava signed an agreement and started the following in a talk with “Wolrd Sport”: Playing in “Dinamo” was my desire, because new team is being created and the leadership of the team searches young talented players. - Do not you think that it is regress returning in Georgia, after spending five years in Europe?
- I do not think so, because I am 21-year-old and if I play well I will be able to continue my career abroad in the future.
- Have you watched Georgian National Championship’s matches recently?
- To tell the truth I have not.
- Have you already adapted new team?
- I do not think that I need adaptation in Georgia, do I? there is good situation in the club. I have been training for two weeks and everything is ok.
Pantskhava had agreement with “Gyori” Hungary but as he said he stopped agreement as a result of bilateral agreement. Besides “Gyori” he was playing in “Gagra”, French “Le Mans”, Ukrainian “Metalist” and Hungarian “Vasas”. Now he can participate in official matches of “Dinamo”, because he is in the main staff.
Sport director of “Dinamo” stated the following about this transfer:” I am glad that we returned such prospective player and I hope he will have successful career here”.
