Sensation of the 5th round of European Individual Women's Chess Championship is that Georgian chesss player Nazi Paikidze (2408) won over Nadezhda Kosintseva (2567). 18-year-old Georgian player beat the rival who is winner of Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals at the 48th move. As a result she is among leaders with 4 points, she is one-point behind leader Viktorija Cmilyte (2504).
Leader of the championship Viktorija Cmilyte won over Elina Danielyan (2506) with black pieces. Bela Khotenashvili (2470), Lela Javakhishvili (2454) and Nino Khurtsidze (2436) are leaders. 11 rounds will be held at European Championship 2011 and it will end up on May 18. May 14 is a day off. Champion will gain 20 000 EUR from prize money. The second-placed will gain 15 000 EUR and the third-placed – 10 000 EUR.
