Georgian chess player Nazi Paikidze (2416) competed without loss in three rounds of World Championship which is underway in the city of India, Chennai. But she took only one point in other three rounds and is not among leaders anymore.
In the fourth round, Georgian chess player played draw against Indian Rout Padmini (2348). Then, she lost against Russian Olga Giria (2371) and played draw against Kazakh Guliskhan Nakhbayeva (2222).
Nazi earned 4.0 points and is in the 9th place among 69 participants. Giria who has 5.5 points is leading the tournament. Another Georgian participant Keti Tsatsalashvili (2318) is in the 30th place with 3.5 points.
Monday is a day off at the tournament. On August 9, Paikidze will play against Vietnamese Kim Tee Wo (2141) with white pieces. Tsatsalashvili will play against Indian Nandidha (2101) with white pieces.
