Georgian chess player Nazi Paikidze (2416) played the first draw in the fourth round of World Junior Championship and lost the leadership. Paikidze played against Indian Rout Padmini (2348) with black pieces and moved to the second place with 3.5 points. Russian Olga Giria (2371) became leader. She celebrated four victories in a row against Azerbaijani Narmin Kazimova (2292).
The central game of the fifth round will be the game of Paikidze and Giria.
Another Georgian Keti Tsatsalashvili (2318) does not play well at World Championship. She lost against Ecuadorian Echeveria Romero (2071) and is in the 52nd place among 69 participants. Indian Kalra Arunima (1867) will be the next opponent of Tsatsalashvili.
