Otar Korghalidze: "Boys Must Feel - Georgia Is behind Us"

Today, Georgian U-19 football team will start elite round of European Championship with the match against Bosnia. Otar Korghalidze, head coach of the team, held training on “Josipa Svetog Radnika” stadium in little city Sesvete near Zagreb. This stadium will host the match between Bosnia and Georgia. The stadium is one hour away from Tulje where the teams live.

The training lasted one hour. Davit Skhirtladze who arrived in Croatia in the afternoon trained with the team. Later, Korghalidze gathered the team for theoretical practice and then made a comment for the official website of GFF.

“Finally, the team has gathered and I am happy that Skhirtladze trained with the team. The boys are preparing seriously. We will go to the field and will try to defend our football principles till the end. I hope, we will play our football.

The whole team gathered for theoretical practice. Not only coaches and football players but also doctor, masseur, administrator and we had an interesting talk. The boys must feel and know that we are one team and Georgia is behind us. Relatives, friends and fans expect good playing and success from us. I tell it to the players every day.

Debut match is always important. It is the same in life – how you start working, it will continue the same way. So, I hope, we will win Bosnia over and do it till the end”.
P.S. Bosnia-Georgia will start at 18:30 Tbilisi time and Michael Tykgaard of Denmark will judge it.
