An international tournament is under way in the city of India, Chennai. Two Georgian chess players Sophiko Guramishvili (2441) and Nino Batsiashvili (2425) are participating in it.

Six rounds were held at the tournament and the Georgians are not among the leaders. Sophiko and Nino have 3.5-3.5 points and are in the 30^th and 32^nd places.

Santosh Vidit of India (2582) and Mikhail Mozharov of Russia (2508) are leading with 5.5-5.5 points.

In the 7^th round Guramishvili will play Karina Ambartsumova of Russia (2310) and Batsiashvili – Krishna of India (2304).
