“Volga” Nizhny Novgorod a debutant of Russian Premier League finished meeting in Turkey. There were 8 Georgians – Otar Martsvaladze, Edik Sajaia, Giorgi Novalovski, Gocha Khojava, Gogita Gogua, Mate Vatsadze, Gia Grigalava and Lasha Salukvadze were preparing in Belek. “Volga” will have rest for several days after returning in Russia and on February 1 will leave again for Turkey for preparation. Omar Tetradze head coach of the club estimated the results of the first meeting.
- How is your impression on the first meeting?
- Very pleasant. First of all I am satisfied with attitude what my players have to their duty. We fulfilled our planned job I do not have any complaint against anyone.
- From 4 sparring matches “Volga” won 3 ones and drew one match.  But head coaches are superstitious - successful meeting is not followed by successful season. Do you agree with it?
- I agree with it partly. Of course victory makes you glad, because winner’s mentality is created in team, which is necessary for debutant team in Premier League. But head coaches should not let players to relax psychologically. I think my players understand everything very well, estimate results correctly and take responsibility on their duties.  
-  Can you describe new-comers, whom you signed agreement with?

-All of them made good impression on us, but some of them arrived over-weighted. For keeping fit they lost time, which is very important at the first stage of preparation. Goalkeeper Kerjakov has big potential. Mate Vatsadze young prospected forward is regularly called up for Georgian National Team and on February 6 he leaves for the meeting of Georgian team.  Georgian defender who has Russian citizenship Grigalava is very talented, but he did not have enough playing practice in “Msokva” and in “Rostov”. But he will have it in “Volga”. The second defender Hungarian Gaal had healthy problems and that’s why he did not have playing practice in “Amkar”, but we remember well how great he playing in the first season and hope that he will play in such way in our club also. Gogua is master and as qualified as Salukvadze another member of Georgian National Team. We have not signed agreement with Salukvadze yet.
- How would you explain Georgians’ plurality in “Volga”?
- We cannot afford such Russian players financially.  We were discussing several Russian players in the same positions, but club’s budget did not afford it. Georgians adopt to our terms very fast and Georgians’ number in “Volga” will not be more than five.  For example for Navalovski and Sajaia we are searching new clubs.

- Has new club’s staff been already outlined?
- In 50 % it has been. The point is that leaders will be found out in each line, who can definite the staff. I cannot name them yet.
