Akaki Khubutia, central defender of Georgian national football team, singed one year contract with Turkish “Samsunspor”. Terms of the contract are: Khubutia is still player of “Gaz Metan” and next summer, “Samsunspor” will be able to transfer him.

“Samsunspor” has moved to Super League this year and made 7 transfers during last two weeks. According to the Turkish ajansspor, this team will get in top 10.

Bosnian Vladimir Petkovic is coaching “Samsunspor”. He coached Swiss “Young Boys”.

25-year-old Khubutia spent last two seasons in “Gaz Metan”. He held 56 matches and scored 2 goals.

Akaki has held 6 matches in Georgian national football team – he was not called up for the matches against Latvia and Malta because of injuries. Before the team of Temur Ketsbaia, Khubutia played for U-17, 19 and 21 teams. He held 3 matches and scored 2 goals in U-19 team; 11 matches and 2 goals in U-21 team.
