Instead of 12, 13 chess players will compete in Women's Georgian 68th Chess Championship. Mariam Danelia from Zugdidi is the 13th player of the mentioned championship. She won European Youth Championship 2010 (girls, U-16).
Georgian Chess Federation let Danelia participate in the championship as a representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.
Anaklia will host Women's Georgian 68th Chess Championship 2011 on January 10-23. January 16 is a day off.
Prize money of the championship is 13 500 GEL which will be shared among 1st-5th-placed players. Georgian Chess Federation will finance 1st-3rd-placed players at European Individual Championship. Champion will get in Georgian team which will participate in European Team Chess Championship 2011.
Nana Aleksandria is the main referee of the 68th championship and Davit Kodua will be a director.
