Final match of the eighth round of national basketball championship was held between TSU and GTU at Tbilisi Sports Palace. The match ended in favor of TSU – 67:57. Tornike Niniashvili gained 29 points for TSU and Giorgi Khaniashvili gained 14 points for GTU. Nugzar Cheishvili head coach of TSU stated the following:” no one gives up easily in national championship, that’s why it was tense match as it was between “Armia” and “Rustavi”. In the first quarter the score was 5-7 between “Armia” and “Rustavi” too, “Rustavi” gave up the match in decisive quarter too. My guys did everything and time by time we are taking after vice-champion”.
 As far as you know, in today’s first match “Olimpi” won over “Batumi” 82:74. In central match of the round “Sokhumi” won over MIA (93:82) and in the third match “Armia” beat “Rustavi” (81:49).
